Loutradis resigns from LPT

Christos Loutradis, Interior Minister, has resigned from the Labour Party (LPT) as he believes that the 'leftist party of Talamthom is no longer left-wing but indeed a conservative party with no new ideas. It is his intention to make a move to Democratic Labour (DLP)

This has caused a rather public row in the Courtyard of Baile na hAlainn as well as at party headquarters.

The situation is far from rectified following DLP's members suggesting to Loutradis he should stick it out with the LPT in the greater national interest.
