Talamthom Treaty Fails to Excite Cyberia

The recently submitted Talamthom-Cyberia Treaty (or Treaty of Freetown as its known in Cyberia) has failed to excite the legislative fortress that is The Virtual Commonwealth of Cyberia's National Assembly.

The treaty, which is considered by our Republic to be yet another step in the right direction for foreign relations, has been largley ignored in the more established nation. After three days without any acknowledgement from his government Jack Santucci, the President and the man responsible for submitting the treaty to the national assembly, was forced to shake his Speaker, Alan Grieve, into action.

The Speaker as soon as he had responded to the treaty immediately started discussing a treaty with the Grand Commonwealth. Oh well, maybe it is as much to do with the form as the content then Mr Santucci?

You're mistaking a lack of extensive commentary for a lack of interest. Happily the treaty is enjoying unanimous support in our National Assembly.

The Speaker knew the treaty was on his to-do list. I just resubmitted it in order to comply with his request that all outstanding legislation be reposted.
