Christos Loutradis Causes a Storm

Christos Loutradis (LPT at-large), the Interior Minister, in an attempt to attract more citizens to Talamthom's shores has managed to annoy the Gotzborg royal family. Both Princess Julia and King August Charles have seen fit to complain, through various media, about what they perceive as blatant 'citizen snatching' attempts.

Whilst Princess Julia complained in the Courtyard of Baile na hAlainn (quite publicly), the King saw fit to approach the matter with a little more restraint an instead sent a complaint to the Foreign Office. The Foriegn Minister, Tomás Ó Ceallaigh, replied in a restrained and dignified manner and requested that the Home Office suspend its recruitment drive until after further consultation with senior government officials.

The incident, although embarrasing for the Home Office, will most likely blow over provided there is no repeat performance elsewhere.
