Technical Issues Will Not Delay Elections

As many in the micronational community will be aware, EZboard is on the blink. In a statement released by them they say of the attack:

On Tuesday May 31 ezboard's systems were the victim of a very precise and malicious internet attack. This attack resulted in the loss of a significant amount of current and historical board postings and interrupted services across all systems

The same statement goes on to say that initial errors will be fixed as soon as Wednesday but the wait for historical documents may have to wait longer.

Amongst the victims of the attack in Talamthom are the Constitution, the Dáil Tománn, the Ministry of State and the Political Parties. Coupled to this is the loss of many pages of posts from An Clós, An Gairdín and the High Court.

President Tomás Ó Ceallaigh has said in response to this.

In true Tománnach fashion we will not let this nuisance set us back. The election schedule and electoral roll published by LCJ Gladstone stands and the election will go ahead. If the problems persist with ezboard and the situation cannot be rectified then there is a back-up plan in place. I urge citizens to continue posting in any way they can and the Áras an Uachtaráin will keep you up to date on what's going on.

We await any further news from ezboard but the problems are known to be effecting many members of the micronational community. Gold communities are expected to be compensated.
