News in Brief

Inactivity Fading

Inactivity which has been blighting the progress of the Dáil in the Republic is slowly dissappearing as many different projects begin to take shape. There was a fear that due to low participation levels by many members that the 'November' elections wouldn't be happening - as it is they will be delayed but are well on their way to being organised.

Santos Laguna

The small island of Santos Laguna has become a hive of activity of late with various military planning discussions and orders for naval vessels in the air. As it is Edgard Portela, Defence Executive, submitted, by proxy, the Tománnach National Defence Act. This act will effectively ensure a framework from which a realistic functioning defence force may be established and maintained.

The Republic has ordered a total of ten vessels of varying purposes from the Königreich Reichlau Schiffbau in Gotzborg. In addition to this, as a token of goodwill Gotzborg not only continues to lease the Republic HRMS Talamthom and HRMS Gloworm, but also has 'donated' HRMS Poundmaker permanently. HRMS Poundmaker has unofficially been renamed LT Poundmaker to reflect the change of ownership and will receive a new oname officially as soon as possible.

Babkhan Oil

The submission of the Babkhan Oil Act to the Dáil sees a new era for the Republic as they strive to keep a stable energy supply in the future. The act not only ensures the supply but also allows for the commissioning of a new Oil Tanker from Königreich Reichlau Schiffbau. Additionally there will be a state-owned energy company XXX Tománnach responsible for the distribution and sale of supplies. The fuel will mostly be used to provide petrol and electricity.

And finally...

The United Counties of Riponia. Who you may be asking!? Well why not go visit them as the Dáil is about to issue a statement of recognition.
